Come and learn the art of crafting a spoon from reclaimed timber. Workshops last around 2.5 hours and are held monthly at various pop up locations in London.
During the workshop you will learn the safest way to use wood carving knives and leave with your very own spoon.
A kit of sandpaper and a homemade wood balm will be given to continue to care for your spoon when you get home.
Please be advised this class is for over 18s only due to the nature of the tools used- sorry!
The Grain and Knot workshop can travel! Please get in touch if you would like a workshop held for a group of up to 8 people.
Perfect for corporate and creative workplaces that need an escape from staring at a computer all day.
What spoon will we make?
You will have the choice either a porridge spoon or a round spoon. The pre cut shapes will be available to choose at the workshop.
What timber will we use?
